daesung INJURED ?
this news got me insanely upset && sad at the same time . our daesungie got into a horrific car accident. while he was on his way back home from filming family outing, the vehicle that daesung was in bumped into the one ahead of it while it was cruising near Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi.
YG Entertainment stated, "We have made contact but everything is still under investigation. But it's a relief that there were no casualties although it's believed that Daesung has injured his arm. His manager sustained leg injuries in the crash while Daesung's stylist has been transferred to a bigger hospital for treatment after severe bleeding. The car was pretty much smashed up after the crash."

after hearing the news that Daesung was injured in a car accident, it appears that they have found something else in Daesung suffered a nose fracture.
According to YG Entertainment, "Big Bang's Daesung has suffered a nose fracture and this was the same part that he had injured when he was little. There's also some alignment problem with Daesung's spinal cord although that will clear up by itself in about 4 weeks time. Other that that, Daesung also suffered superficial injuries on his face and arms. His arm which was reported to be injured earlier on, was a non-issue after check-up."
YG explained what happened, "Daesung was on his way back home from the site of the filming location of Family Outing at around 4. While cruising along the highway near Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi province, there was a lot of water accumulated on the road because of heavy rain, which caused the vehicle to skid and crash onto the divider. Daesung was sitting beside the driver (his manager), while his coordinator sat behind."
Daesung's manager suffered superficial injuries on his hands and a leg injury and will receive further treatment in Seoul. The coordinator suffered severe bleeding on the leg but luckily there was no damage to the nerves, and will be fine after an operation. Daesung and his manager will return to Seoul for further treatment while the coordinator will go through an operation tonight because of her severe injuries.
YG Entertainment has announced that Daesung will require 4 - 6 weeks of recuperation time and will not be taking part in anything for the next month or so. He will also miss the Shouting musical which starts on 12th August (till 23rd), tomorrow. At this juncture, we wish Daesung, his manager and coordinator a speedy recovery.

Just when you thought Daesung of Big Bang had it bad with a nose and spine fracture, he now has an eye injury to top it off. Daesung's car accident occured after his car was coming out of a tunnel at Pyeongtaek Freeway when it skidded and hit a railing on Tuesday afternoon.
YG Entertainment said on the 13th that his diagnosis originally came up to 4 weeks of treatment due to his injuries, but after finding a fracture around his left eye's cornea following a CT scan, his medical leave is now extended to 8 weeks. This is definitely an accident that will give Daesung much needed rest.
Seungri will have to soldier on alone and continue with the musical SHOUTING without Daesung. Daesung is likely to miss filming for Family Outing as well.

Big Bang's Daesung who suffered multiple injuries and fractures from an horrifying accident on the 11th, will be operated on within this week. The operation will see Daesung's fractured eye and nose areas being operated on, and as both areas are pretty close to each other, they will be operated on at the same time.
Daesung's manager said on the 17th that after a thorough examination by the doctors, they decided that the most effective way of operating on Daesung's injuries would be to operate on both the eye and nose fractures at the same time. And because of that, a full anesthesia will have to be applied to Daesung before this major operation.
Daesung will still need to lie low and recuperate from his injuries for around 8 weeks following his operation. We wish Daesung well and a successful operation. And well wishes to Daesung's manager and coordinator as well.

We reported earlier this morning that Daesung would be getting operated on today, 19th August for his horrific multiple fractures suffered in a car accident last week, while returning to Seoul from recording Family Outing.
The operation was a success as we speak.
According to sources at the hospital, Daesung was wheeled into the operation room at 11.30am and placed under general anesthesia. The operation on his fractured bones around the eye and nose area lasted for about four hours, ending at around 3.30pm. YG Entertainment said on the 19th, "Daesung's operation was a success and we will be focusing on his recovery now." His projected recuperation time is set at 8 weeks although that could be shortened depending on Daesung's condition. No operation will be done on Daesung's spinal chord which will be treated normally. But in any case, YG Entertainment will not rush Daesung back to work until he's near 100%.
Daesung's injuries have already seen changes made to his schedule. Daesung dropped out of his musical, Shouting which started on 12th August. He will also miss the recording of Family Outing between 24 - 25th August. In addition, Big Bang's Japan concert tour has been moved to early 2010 to accomodate Daesung's recovery.
After an operation to realign his fractured bones around his eye and nose areas on 19th August, Big Bang's Daesung has been recovering pretty well in the aftermath and will be discharged sometime next week.
YG Entertainment expressed that because of Daesung's spinal injury, he is still having difficulty moving around properly. But Daesung has already regained his appetite to that before his accident, and is looking forward to getting back on his feet again. YG Entertainment also said that the other Big Bang members often visits Daesung at the hospital to cheer him up, but no one has really spotted them because they always keep a low profile.
